Impact

  • Approximately 1,973 people received medical care through mobile clinics in 7 batey communities, with special attention to children, pregnant women, and older adults. Services included consultations, workshops, and hospital referrals.
  • Support was provided in more than 4,544 active documentation cases for migrants and Dominicans of Haitian descent seeking legal identity, migration regularization, or residency renewal. Services included immigration appointments, temporary work permits, nationality rights, among others.
  • 175 women entrepreneurs were trained, of whom 130 received seed funding to launch and strengthen small businesses.
  • More than 36 Savings and Loan Groups (GAAP) were strengthened in vulnerable communities to promote economic resilience.
  • 10 Women’s Support Groups (GAM) were formed, involving more than 213 women, along with 4 “New Men, Free Men” groups with 91 male participants.
  • In education, 187 children and adolescents from seven communities participated in academic reinforcement programs aimed at strengthening basic skills, improving performance, and supporting school retention.
