Programs & Services
Legal Assistance
With the objective of identifying and implementing solutions to situations that require protection and justice, priority is given to individuals and communities. Recognizing that laws are neither abstract nor ambiguous, this approach seeks to guarantee respect for and protection of human rights, particularly labor rights, identity, and citizenship for populations in the communities where ASCALA operates.
Local Development
We aim to strengthen the capacities of individuals, families, and community organizations to improve quality of life and collective well-being. Our goal is to promote human, social, and economic development in the most vulnerable communities through initiatives focused on livelihoods, food security, and environmental care.
Education
To contribute to the socio-educational development of children, adolescents, and youth through actions that involve families and communities, encouraging integration and school retention. It also promotes community commitment to social change toward a culture of peace from a gender perspective, and strengthens the capacities of community leaders to transform relational dynamics and foster integral community development.
Social Services
To coordinate actions with public and private institutions to ensure more effective care for individuals and communities, while promoting access to healthcare through disease prevention and epidemic control activities, in coordination with other program areas, through training and awareness for children, adolescents, and their families.
Institutional Strengthening
Our objective is to improve the organization’s internal management to ensure the quality and continuity of services, strengthen institutional capacity, and achieve organizational goals, ensuring financial sustainability and the ability to influence social change.
